Transactions

Within the context of this guide, a transaction is the process in which one person gives something up to obtain something from someone else. To put it simpler - if you give me $5 so I give you my hat, that is a transaction. What you are hoping to obtain doesn’t have to be tangible - if you give me $5 to make me happy, that is also a transaction.

Transactions can be conducted in a one-on-one fashion, where cash is directly given to obtain something, or through intermediaries such as bank transfer, credit card, debit card, or paypal. Different forms of transaction may be more practical than others, depending on what you are trying to purchase.
